Andreas Kapsalis - Here is my instrumental solo acoustic guitar arrangement of the
"Seikilos Epitaph," the oldest complete melody with lyrics in the world, carved into
stone roughly 2000 years ago somewhere between 200 BC and 100 AD. I do include the
lyrics that accompany the melody in the video as well in the description below. The
guitar is in standard tuning and there are no overdubs in the audio or video.

"While you live, shine have no grief at all life exists only for a short while and Time demands its end." For historical perspective, here are some events that happened
around the estimated era this song was written. Lions became extinct in Western
Europe. Golden age of the Roman Empire. Crucifixion of Jesus. Library of Alexandria was still standing. Hindu number system is developed. Eruption of Mt. Vesuvius destroys

Andreas Kapsalis - I wanted to re-record and re-shoot another version of Eleanor Rigby by the Beatles, mainly because I love the tune and thought it would be nice to update my arrangement. The acoustic guitar is in standard tuning and there are no overdubs in the audio or video.  Also, just an update, since things have opened up more in the last few months.,I have been performing more and have not had the time to record and shoot as many videos as I would like.

James). I recorded this song using a Taylor acoustic guitar with a condenser mic
and Piezo pickup running through an AER acoustic amplifier. There are no guitar
